Pollution Prevention Assistance Program Agreement

Committee authorized the mayor to sign a two-year interagency agreement with Washington State Department of Ecology providing $269,240.70 for pollution prevention specialists and business assistance. The program targets small businesses in the Whatcom Creek watershed and downtown Bellingham to reduce toxic chemical use and prevent stormwater contamination.
